When Starlight Foundation began its mission of advocacy for street-connected children, the road that seemed endless has been narrowed to representing them in the best possible. The margin has stretched from street-connected children to the widowed, the aged and the disabled. Five years on we can boldly say that representation is the way. For us, it’s not only about getting these people excited for a moment, beyond that but all our initiatives have also been tailored to give them hope of a better life devoid of threats and insecurities.
Today, Starlight Foundation can boast of over 10,000 direct beneficiaries and looking to impact more lives with long-term and sustainable benefits. From You’re Not Alone to Let’s Feed the Street Together, our message has always been this; the collective effort of citizens is what will make the dream work. It’s not a Starlight Foundation business nor is it the job of the government, the people who suffer from these circumstances are our direct neighbours and the result of their actions and predicament reflects on us.
For years on, we ask that you join us to save the world together. In your own small way and space lets your action reflects one ready to make a change in the lives of street-connected children, the widowed, the aged and the disabled.
