One of the reasons why Starlight Foundation has had more success stories is because we believe we’re not the only ones with concerns about how street-connected children, the widowed and the aged are being treated in society. Though the negligence is a setback, we have had incredible people come on board as partners, sponsors, members and volunteers of our initiatives. These individuals through their support have pushed our stories far and our impact broad.
We believe the more one does, the more one can do, thus at five we’re not only acknowledging those who have helped us reach this far but also extending an invite to as many who can support our course to help us make more impact. Our aim is not to claim the hero in the end, the situation in our communities demands that we all make input to ensure a safe place for all citizens. Whether in cash or kind, your support will take a street-connected child out of the street, bringing smiles to the widowed and the aged and the disabled to find hope in their current situation.
Also, you might have noticed few on the frontline but the members of Starlight Foundation have played major roles in ensuring that we reach our target every time. What is a project without the people? It’s their continuous commitment to the course that has produced incredible stories of impact all over the country.
What then does five years mean to our members and volunteers? Five years means that the role we play in society as ambassadors of street-connected children needs to reach more audiences. As we celebrate five years of enormous impact on beneficiaries, we celebrate our members, partners, sponsors and volunteers who have dedicated themselves to being the change that we seek in society.
