People might be wondering why now? Starlight Foundation’s annual ‘Let’s Feed the Street Together’ is fast approaching and they might have not accessed how hard it is for people to live their lives in recent times. For us at Starlight Foundation, ‘the willingness to share does not make us charitable, it makes us free’ (Robert Brault).
For us, it is about seeing the blessings of the year and being grateful. For others, it might be able to do one good for the entire year and that is why we encourage as many people to join because this is not about Starlight Foundation posting flyers about an event over and over again without measuring the capabilities of people. This is a time we share our blessings with the street and allow others to be a part of it.
Think about this, the one time we share our bread with the street is in the same period of love. Buying a bowl of food with juice for the street-connected children will not last them for a day but the gesture will live a long long-lasting imprint on their lives. Don’t think about it much because we are not asking for much. Partner with us this year and let’s make history once again. For neither hardship, nor any other circumstance will drive us away from the love for the street. Let’s connect, let’s feed the street together in a massive way.
