When it comes to showing kindness, everyone has a position in it. Some choose to be observers, others choose to sponsor from behind whiles others lead the mission. Whichever that you are, Starlight Foundation is grateful to have you around. The life of our widowed persons especially in our communities is appalling. Yes, we will all lose our loved ones one day, these are things we don’t have control over. But just as Alicia Keys sang in her popular song ‘We are here, we’re here for all of us. Starlight Foundation is here for widowed persons. Thus, we appreciate everyone lifting an arm to help them, your help is not forgotten. That is the message from the widowed persons in Dwahenya to you.
Our next gratitude goes to the people of Dwahenya and their Assemblymen. Going out personally to invite these widowed persons is remarkable. We just have a message to all of us: it’s no fault of theirs to lose a life partner. Let’s restrain from making their lives more sorrowful. If there’s anything we can do for them, it’s to constantly remind them that they are not alone.
To our able members, this is the beginning of yet another impactful year. Whether for the widowed, the street-connected children, the aged, or the disabled, we’re making it our task to reach far and wide.
To you at home, we’re counting on you when it comes to widowed persons. Be kind to them and know that this phase of their life can happen to anyone thus their survival is dependent on us.
